Prince William's guest appearance on the Apple TV+ travel comedy series "The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy" has garnered two Primetime Emmy nominations. The Prince of Wales joined host Eugene Levy at Windsor Castle, discussing personal challenges, including his father King Charles and wife Kate Middleton's cancer battles, and reflecting on his responsibilities as a father and the future of the monarchy. The series received nominations for Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.

William's participation included a lighthearted exchange with Levy, where the royal joked about getting drunk with him, and a private tour of Windsor Castle. During their conversation, the Prince shared that 2024 had been "the hardest year I've ever had," adding that "life is sent to test us, as well. And being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are."

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, received a single Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lifestyle Series for her Netflix show "As Ever." This nomination comes eight years after she reportedly declined an invitation to the Emmy Awards ceremony. The Duchess shared the news on Instagram, congratulating the crew and team behind her program.

"As Ever," launched in March 2025, featured Meghan offering hosting and cooking tips. However, the series reportedly faced criticism and did not break into Netflix's top 1,000 most-watched programs. Following this, Meghan ended her partnership with Netflix in March and took full control of her lifestyle brand. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a first-look deal with Netflix through their Archewell Productions company, which is set to produce a war film based on an Afghanistan memoir.

In related media appearances, Meghan is scheduled to be a guest judge on "MasterChef Australia," where contestants will be tasked with creating a dish fit for a Duchess. She cited her love of food and Australia as reasons for participating in the show. The episode is slated to broadcast on July 26.
