Passenger Identified After Dying Mid-Flight on Southwest Airlines to Los Angeles

An investigation is ongoing into the death of a 22-year-old passenger aboard a Southwest Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office has identified the deceased as Rain McMillan Walmsey.

Walmsey was traveling on Southwest Airlines Flight 958 on Friday, August 7, from Dallas to Los Angeles when he experienced a medical emergency. The medical examiner's office has stated that the case remains open and the cause of death has been deferred pending further examination.
