Nathaniel D Cullerton, a partner at the New York City law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, has been suspended from his position amid an investigation into a widely shared video depicting him kissing an associate, Kelsey Borenzweig. The firm placed Cullerton on leave following the emergence of the video, according to the Financial Times.

The footage, which reportedly shows the married Cullerton, 45, and Borenzweig, 29, kissing on a Central Park bench, was shared by a TikTok comedian named Jay Guapo and gained significant traction online. It remains unclear when the video was filmed.

Cullerton and Borenzweig are both members of the firm's litigation department. Earlier this year, they were part of the legal team that represented OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in a civil lawsuit brought by Elon Musk.

Sources familiar with the matter indicated that Cullerton was among six partners expected to transition to the rival firm Gibson Dunn. However, his planned move was reportedly rescinded in the wake of the video's circulation.

It is not currently known if Borenzweig is also facing an investigation regarding the incident. As of Tuesday morning, attorney profiles for both Cullerton and Borenzweig were still active on the Wachtell website.
