North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has expressed a desire to work at Starbucks next year, stating she wants to hold a "regular job" despite her burgeoning music career.

"I still wanna work," West said in an interview with Dazed published Monday. "I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year." She added, "I think I can next year ’cause I’m gonna be 14, so… I think I can. I want to have a regular job, I guess."

West's comments come after she released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, earlier this year. She has also made several high-profile public appearances, including a performance at the Orlando festival Rolling Loud.

"Molly was the perfect person to do this with me because I’m her biggest fan for real," West said of her Rolling Loud performance with rapper Molly Santana. "Last year at Summer Smash I was screaming at her set; it’s so crazy. I never thought that day would come."

She described the festival performance as "fun, relieving and exciting," and noted her desire for positive connections among female artists. "It’s cool to show that females can connect through their music – because it’s always beef and stuff, and it’s never like that [with me]. I never wanna have beef with any girl, you know?"

West cited artists such as Bktherula, Baby Osama, and Babyxsosa as inspirations. She also shared that she is dedicated to daily rehearsals for both music and dance.

"I used not to rehearse," West said. "I used to want to go out there and just see what happens. But I like dance rehearsing." When asked about her ideal day, she stated she prefers not to rest and to "get stuff done," envisioning a perfect day as "just going to rehearsal, and then going to the studio; that’s a perfect day. Or having a big show would be the most ideal day."

West stated that she has rejected advice to delay her career, asserting, "It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life."

Regarding fashion, West indicated an openness to trying new styles, though she prefers to maintain her own distinct fashion sense. "A few weeks ago, I’d be like, 'Oh hell no!' But now, after today, I’d wear anything for real. I like to try new things. But I do like to have my own style. It’s just easy."
