Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo was let go without a citation after a Las Vegas patrolman pulled him over for allegedly failing to stop at a red light. The incident, captured on bodycam footage, shows the officer approaching Governor Lombardo's Ford F-150.

When the officer informed Lombardo of the infraction—failing to come to a full stop on a right turn—the governor identified himself, stating, “I’m Joe Lombardo.” The officer acknowledged this, and after a brief exchange, told Lombardo, “You’re good to go, sir. Appreciate ya. Have a good day.” The entire interaction lasted approximately 15 seconds.

According to the notes, police stated it is common practice to not issue a citation for minor violations. Lombardo was reportedly traveling to the airport with his wife at the time of the stop. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department provided the bodycam footage of the encounter.
