Micah Parsons Praises Jaxson Dart's Giants, Calls Them 'Really Good Team'

Micah Parsons, star edge rusher for the Dallas Cowboys, has expressed admiration for the New York Giants following their 28-20 victory over his team in the season opener. Parsons specifically highlighted the performance of Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, suggesting the team has the potential to be "really good."

Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Giants' first Week 1 home win since 2010. Parsons noted the Giants' control of the game in the second half, allowing the Cowboys possession only twice.

"I think Jaxson Dart has elevated his game, his control," Parsons stated on his podcast, "The Edge with Micah Parsons." "He’s showing people how smart he is, his intelligence at the line of scrimmage. That was as damn good as I’ve seen in the NFL, bro. I’m more excited about seeing what he does the rest of the year than about their team success because they’re gonna go as he goes."

Other figures in the football world have also acknowledged Dart and the Giants' strong start. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford commented on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go!” show that he saw "a young team with a bunch of talent" and described them as "a dangerous team."

Former head coaches Herm Edwards and Mike Tomlin, as well as NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth, also offered praise for Dart's play. Collinsworth observed Dart's "physical nature" and noted that while he has made occasional mistakes, his performance in the game was significant.
