The fifth season of Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon's crime drama "Mayor of Kingstown" is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ on Friday, January 15, 2027. This marks the final season for the series.

All four previous seasons of "Mayor of Kingstown" are currently available for streaming on Netflix. Due to the exclusive nature of new episodes on Paramount+, the fifth season is not expected to be available on Netflix until late 2027 at the earliest.

The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes. The cast will see the addition of David Morse as seasoned FBI agent Russell Hardy and Nestor Carbonell as Enrique Molina, a crime boss seeking to avenge a missing relative.

Paramount+ offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, which includes Showtime titles and live CBS programming for $13.99 per month. Both plans offer a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. The service can also be added to Hulu or Amazon accounts for $13.99 per month, with free trial periods available for new users on those platforms as well. Paramount+ is also accessible via YouTube for $10.99 per month for the first three months, with a free trial option.
