Lifetime actress Natasha Wilson is suing for damages after a dog attack in a West Hollywood park left her with permanent facial scarring, according to a lawsuit filed recently.

Wilson, known for her roles in Lifetime movies like "The Best Version of Love" and "Single and Ready to Jingle," claims she was bitten in the face by a dog named Scruffy while attempting to protect her French bulldog. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on November 7, 2024, at the West Hollywood Dog Park.

According to the lawsuit, Scruffy aggressively approached Wilson's French bulldog, exhibiting dominant behavior. When Wilson picked up her own dog, Scruffy allegedly jumped on her, causing her to lose her grip. The suit states that Scruffy then continued to attack, biting Wilson on the face above her right eyebrow as she tried to shield her pet.

Wilson was taken to the emergency room at Cedars Sinai, where she received stitches and was prescribed antibiotics. The lawsuit alleges that the attack resulted in a laceration requiring sutures, leaving her with a permanent and visible scar, an altered eyebrow, and impaired movement of her right brow.

The actress has reportedly been advised that she needs scar revision surgery and further treatment. The suit claims that the injuries have prevented her from attending her usual work, leading to a loss of earnings and impaired earning capacity.

Wilson is seeking economic damages, including compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and diminished earning potential. The California Post has reached out to the owner of Scruffy, identified as Gregory Marcel, for comment. The lawsuit details claims of permanent disfigurement that have impacted her professional life.
