Peter Andrews, the father of businessman Lee Andrews, has reportedly been detained and placed in the same Dubai prison as his son, facing allegations of fraud. This development comes shortly after Lee Andrews was reportedly re-arrested in the emirate.

Sources claim that Peter Andrews was brought to the attention of officials by a third party. His incarceration follows his son's recent detainment, just a month after Lee was released from the Al Awir prison. Lee Andrews, 42, is reportedly claiming he is close to securing his release by raising a £120,000 fine.

Lee Andrews has maintained his innocence, stating there is no evidence against him for fraud. He has previously alleged that his prior arrest involved being taken at gunpoint, suspecting espionage. He also claimed to have been mistreated by armed individuals.

His legal difficulties have been ongoing. In January, it was reported that Lee Andrews took out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-partner Dina Taji's name without her knowledge, leading to legal action and a travel ban from Dubai. Taji reportedly warned his current wife, Katie Price, about him. Additionally, ex-partner Crystal Janke has accused him of taking £123,000 for an investment with a promised return of £1 million, an accusation Lee Andrews denies. His ex-fiancée Alana Percival has also issued warnings on social media.

Katie Price is reportedly at the end of her patience with her husband's ongoing issues, with friends urging her to leave him. Price is currently in the UK, having recently appeared on television to defend her marriage following the release of her Sky documentary.

The situation also involves a dispute over a pomsky dog purchased in Dubai, which Lee Andrews' ex-partner Dina has reportedly taken.
