Lady Gaga was photographed cradling her newborn baby after touching down in Los Angeles with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, over the weekend. Page Six reported last Friday that the couple, who met in 2019 and became engaged nearly five years later, recently welcomed their first child.

The singer, 40, kept a low profile, shielding the infant with her coat as she disembarked from a private jet. She was seen wearing a trench coat over a floral dress and heels, with her platinum hair styled. Polansky, 42, appeared casually dressed in a hoodie, shorts, and a baseball cap.

Page Six reported that the couple’s first child arrived last Friday, although details regarding the baby's name, age, and sex have not yet been publicly disclosed. Gaga and Polansky began their romance in late 2019 and went public in February 2020. Polansky proposed in early 2024, and the couple reportedly began trying for a child that same year.

Sources indicated that Gaga faced significant health challenges during her pregnancy. "She's had a hard road to travel physically. There have been moments of giddiness and moments of despair. It has been so sad," one source told Page Six. "It’s a real tale of hard times, both physical and emotional, en route to this happy ending. She’s had severe hip issues and a heap of other physical ailments, alongside everything she puts her body through when performing."

Gaga has not publicly commented on becoming a mother, and her representative has not responded to requests for comment. The Grammy winner was previously spotted with her baby during a stroll in Northern California.

In an interview with The New York Times in March 2025, Gaga expressed excitement about motherhood, noting that despite initial apprehension, she was "excited to be a mom." Both Gaga and Polansky have reportedly taken time off work to focus on their new family.

Prior to the baby's arrival announcement, some of the couple's friends speculated they might have eloped due to their reduced public appearances.
