Kelly Osbourne is taking a personal retreat to focus on her well-being as she navigates a period of significant personal change. The television personality recently shared that she is "stepping away from the madness" while enjoying a holiday, a move that comes shortly after reports surfaced of her ex-fiancé, Sid Wilson, being fired from the heavy metal band Slipknot. Osbourne, 41, split from Wilson, 49, in March and is currently on a getaway with their three-year-old son, Sidney.

"I’m really learning how important it is to step away from the madness sometimes," Osbourne stated in a social media post. "I get so wrapped up in life, work, people, plans… everything going on around me, that I genuinely forget I’m allowed to stop. To switch off. To breathe. To just be." She described the holiday as a reminder that breaks are not wasted time but are "exactly what you need to come back to yourself," adding, "I honestly feel reborn. Lighter, calmer, happier… and very much NOT ready to go home."

The news of Wilson's departure from Slipknot follows a tumultuous period for Osbourne. While the specific reasons for his ousting remain unclear, Osbourne posted a message on social media that appeared to allude to the situation. "I can't protect you from yourself anymore. Wake the fk up and take some responsibility. I will not take your st anymore. I'm done," she wrote. She further commented, "I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal."

Osbourne also shared further reflections, stating, "Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror they throw it at someone else." She also humorously added, "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions Oh yeah and maybe some child support?"

Wilson joined Slipknot in 1998 as the ninth member of the band's now-iconic lineup. Reports suggest he was informed of his permanent removal earlier this month. This development follows a challenging year for Wilson, marked by his separation from Osbourne in March. The couple quietly ended their engagement seven months after Wilson proposed in 2025. Insiders have indicated that Osbourne has found the past year, including her father's loss and the relationship challenges, difficult, but she remains committed to her sobriety and her role as a mother.

The evolving lineup of Slipknot has seen several changes over the years. Bassist Paul Gray died in 2010, and drummer Joey Jordison passed away in 2021. Percussionist Chris Fehn was dismissed in 2019, and keyboardist Craig Jones departed in 2023. If Wilson's departure is confirmed, only vocalist Corey Taylor, percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan, and guitarists Mick Thomson and Jim Root would remain from the band's classic lineup.
