Schreiber attended the Thursday night dinner dressed in a black dress-over-pants ensemble, complemented by a black purse and black block-heeled sandals. Her hair was styled in an elegant knot with side-sweeping bangs. Watts, Schreiber's mother, was also present, wearing a white blouse with an asymmetrical neckline and black pants. Holmes arrived with her boyfriend, artist Jason Bard Yarmosky.
Christie Brinkley also attended with her daughter, Sailor Brinkley. Kors' Fall/Winter 2026 collection was described as featuring urban simplicity and luxury, with soft layering and a color palette ranging from city neutrals to vibrant hues.
Schreiber has previously spoken about her aspirations in the fashion industry, telling Interview magazine that she wants to be a "supermodel." She has credited her struggles with gender identity from a young age as a factor in her desire to be a "beautiful, glamorous, influential woman." Schreiber made her runway debut for Valentino in March 2025 and has since walked for other major fashion houses, including Mugler, Jason Wu, Fendi, Celine, and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
She has also expressed gratitude for the "strong community" of transgender individuals in fashion, citing figures like Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, and Hari Nef. "It's so great that there's a strong community of us in the fashion world; it's really a doll takeover," Schreiber said. "It's important to all of us to have a sense of community, especially when we're under such hostile attack."
Regarding her future education, Schreiber indicated uncertainty about attending college, stating that school has "never really been my strong suit" and that she prefers to "go with the flow." She sees her future in the fashion industry, which has long been her dream.

Liev Schreiber recalled a "profound moment" when Kai asked the family to use feminine pronouns, noting that it "didn't feel like that big of a deal" because Kai had always expressed herself femininely.
