The New York Jets have added depth to their offensive line by acquiring center Jordan Meredith from the Raiders. The deal, reported Sunday, involved a swap of future draft picks, with the Jets sending a 2027 sixth-round selection to the Raiders for a 2027 seventh-round pick.

Meredith, 28, brings experience to the interior of the Jets' offensive line, having started 19 games over the past two seasons. He joined the Raiders in 2022 on a futures contract. Over his last four seasons, Meredith has appeared in 45 games with 20 starts.

Last season, Meredith played in 13 games, starting 11, and faced challenges transitioning to center from right guard. He is under contract through 2026 at $3.5 million annually and is set to become a free agent in 2027.

Meredith's addition provides the Jets with an experienced option as they prepare for the upcoming season. The team continues to evaluate and strengthen its roster through various personnel moves.
