Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, through his Jean-Georges Management company, is set to open three distinct dining concepts within the 70 Hudson Yards skyscraper, according to Related Companies and development partner Oxford Properties Group. The 52-story tower, located at Hudson Boulevard East at West 35th Street, is expected to be completed in 2028.

These new venues will span approximately 10,000 square feet. The offerings will include an intimate 50-seat lobby restaurant, a ground-floor "ABC to Go" concept, and over 5,000 square feet of event and pre-event space on the 46th floor. Vongerichten's group will also manage a catering program for office tenants within the building.

"We look forward to bringing these new dining experiences to the area and becoming part of the community," Vongerichten stated.

Deloitte is confirmed as the anchor tenant for 70 Hudson Yards, occupying more than 800,000 square feet. The building's design is attributed to architectural firms Gensler and Roger Ferris + Partners.

Andrew Cantor, executive vice president at Related, expressed confidence in the partnership, noting, "We’ve been deliberate about every partner we bring to 70 Hudson Yards, and each must meet the standard of a workplace built for the highest performance and add to the vibrancy of the overall neighborhood. Jean-Georges does that and more."

Dean Shapiro, global development head at Oxford, added, "Welcoming a culinary brand of this caliber is yet another indication of the exceptional destination and experience we are creating."

Jean-Georges Management currently operates over 60 restaurants globally. In New York City, its portfolio includes flagship restaurants like Jean-Georges, Nougatine, and Four Twenty Five, along with several casual dining establishments branded as ABC in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Hudson Yards area has become a hub for both corporate tenants and culinary establishments. It already hosts restaurants such as Mercado Little Spain by José Andrés, Locanda Verde by Andrew Carmellini, Saverne by Gabriel Kreuther, and Greywinds by Dan Kluger, in addition to Estiatorio Milos and BondST. Tao Group also operates Peak on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards. Nearby, Brookfield's Manhattan West development features Ci Siamo by Danny Meyer and Zou Zou's.

Approximately 80% of the office space at 70 Hudson Yards is already committed. A recent lease for the top two penthouse floors, encompassing 52,000 square feet, was reportedly signed at a rent exceeding $320 per square foot.
