Australian actress Isabel Lucas has placed her Byron Bay property, known as Sea Eagle, on the market, signaling a further detachment from her homeland as she builds a life in the United States. The secluded coastal home was purchased by Lucas in 2015 for $857,500 with assistance from her parents.

Located on a 1,080-square-meter block within the Oasis Resort community, the property offers direct access to Tallow Beach through Arakwal National Park. Residents also benefit from shared amenities like a swimming pool and tennis court. The three-level home features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with 120 square meters of indoor living space complemented by 140 square meters of outdoor area.

Lucas, who gained fame for her role as Tasha Andrews on the Australian soap opera "Home and Away" from 2003 to 2006, later pursued acting opportunities in Hollywood, appearing in films such as "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." She and her partner, filmmaker Cyrus Sutton, are reportedly establishing a retreat center by the Columbia River in Skamania County, Washington. This venture is intended to offer holistic health practices, beekeeping, and homesteading skills.

While Lucas has spoken about the importance of settling down, she has also indicated that plans can be fluid. "Plans can always change, but we're mostly based over there [America]," Lucas told Stellar magazine. "We're living on the land and setting up a retreat centre by the Columbia River."

The actress has retained a parcel of land in Federal, a hinterland area near Byron Bay, which she acquired for $1.775 million in 2023. However, her primary focus appears to be shifting towards her life in the U.S., where she welcomed a son, Archer, late last year. Her social media posts have recently depicted the family enjoying time in Byron Bay.

This is not the first time Lucas has attempted to sell the Byron Bay property; she previously listed it in 2022 but withdrew the listing after two weeks. The current sale comes as Lucas has been vocal about her transition to life in America. Previously, Lucas drew attention for her public stance against Australia's COVID-19 lockdown policies, which she described as restrictive.
