The husband of an illegal immigrant from Canada arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made threatening remarks against local government officials and celebrated the death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk in online posts. Matthew Geroni, 42, used his TikTok account, where he goes by the username Gravemasterhash, to issue the threats.

In a video posted on June 17, Geroni addressed his over 142,000 followers, stating, "Reminder that, if you work in local government, we know where you live." He also added that his followers knew where local politicians worked and where their children attended school, according to Shorenewsnetwork.

These remarks were posted less than a month before his wife, Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, was arrested following an alleged assault on July 3 at Point Pleasant Beach. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has labeled Tracey the "Maple Leaf Menace."

In other online content, Geroni posted disturbing videos that appeared to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. One video, shared via the X account @ImemetherforeIam, shows Geroni on his balcony with a caption stating, "Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck and he dead."

He further elaborated on this sentiment in another video, using white makeup resembling the Joker. "They're [conservatives] are always laughing at us, so why wouldn't I laugh when one of them takes it to the f–king neck and is no more?" Geroni stated. "The world is a lighter place now that he's gone, and I say 'ha ha ha.'"

Geroni also previously posted videos wishing death on President Trump and his family, including prayers for them to contract cancer.

Tracey, who arrived in the U.S. in 2024, is alleged to have overstayed her visa. DHS stated she would be removed from the country. The couple reportedly moved to Houston in October 2024 before relocating to New Jersey in December 2024. Geroni claimed to have left his job at Wonderland Smoke Shop in 2021 to pursue content creation full-time, according to Facebook posts.
