Ten years after his surprise 2016 presidential election victory, Hillary Clinton stated that Donald Trump has "lost the plot." Speaking with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Clinton, the former secretary of state, contended that in 2016, Trump at least "had a theory of the case" and was guided by advisors who could "rein him in."

Now, Clinton said, Trump is "totally unfettered and unhinged." She pointed to his decision to speak at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, an area whose renovation she described as a "great failure of his efforts to redo Washington," as evidence.

According to Clinton, Trump's remarks at the memorial focused on his own projects and attempts to "build tributes to himself in the image of himself." She accused him of losing sight of "being president for the American people" and winning midterm elections.

Clinton expressed concern about Trump's potential behavior following the upcoming midterms, stating, "I do worry about how much more out of control he might get." She emphasized the importance of a Congress, courts, and state attorneys general working to "control the damage that he could do."

Last week, Clinton predicted that Trump would "most likely launch more attacks on Iran" and "demand even greater loyalty from the Republicans" if Democrats achieve significant gains in the midterms.
