Glasgow MSP Thomas Kerr stated that protesters turning up at individual homes is "wrong" and urged communities to protest peacefully. Kerr, speaking on BBC Radio Scotland, emphasized that targeting people at their doors is unacceptable behavior.

"There's two points here – firstly, turning up at someone's door is wrong. Do not do that, do not target people," Kerr said. He advised protesters to "use their voice" but to avoid physical confrontation, stating, "Your voice is your power, so go out and use your voice, but do not turn to fists."

However, Kerr also acknowledged a sentiment of anger within working-class communities, particularly in Glasgow. He described this anger as being directed "towards a political establishment that has used communities as dumping grounds for people who've come here illegally."

"That's how people feel, that's how the anger exists," he added, while still cautioning against aggressive protest tactics. IMAGE6
