A Georgia mother of three was killed in a murder-suicide by her boyfriend, who was out on bond for a previous domestic violence charge, according to local authorities. The incident occurred in Waverly Hall, Georgia.

Nicole Karastury Elliot, 35, was at her home on Monday morning after dropping two of her children, aged 10 and 6, at school. Andrew Roy Harris, 36, confronted her in the yard, leading to the fatal shooting. The encounter was captured on a doorbell camera, which recorded Elliot pleading for her life before being shot in the head.

"We heard voices on the Ring camera where she had yelled, ‘Don’t do it,’" said Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley. "We heard the gunfire and then we heard her call his name out, ‘Don’t, don’t do it.’"

Elliott’s 14-year-old daughter was not home at the time, having stayed at her biological father's house. Harris, who had been dating Elliot since 2024, is not the father of any of her children. The couple had been together for approximately one year, with Elliot expressing affection for Harris on social media.

Authorities located Harris on Tuesday at a Day’s Inn in Phenix City, Alabama, across the state line. When officers moved in to arrest him, Harris died by suicide with the same firearm used to kill Elliot, according to Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor. Taylor suggested Harris may have intended a "suicide by cop" scenario.

The dispute reportedly began Sunday night when Harris attempted to take Elliot’s middle son's medication, allegedly to abuse it. The argument escalated the following morning, culminating in the fatal shooting.

Sheriff Jolley described the experience of informing Elliot’s children of their mother’s death as "heart-wrenching."

Harris had a history of domestic violence charges in both Georgia and Alabama. He was out on bond for a domestic incident at the time of Elliot's killing.
