Fox Business host Larry Kudlow delivered a sharp rebuke of Republican leadership on Wednesday, telling Sen. James Lankford that the party is failing due to poor messaging and a lack of accomplishments.

"The GOP leadership is letting everyone down," Kudlow stated, criticizing what he described as the party's "nonexistent" messaging and absence of clear policy goals. "Whether it’s swag, swagger, rizz, aura, or how about just plain bad messaging? Anyway, the GOP doesn’t have it."

Introducing Lankford as a guest, Kudlow reiterated his criticism directly to the Oklahoma senator. "Mr. Lankford, I’m sorry you had to bear the brunt of that opening, but I’m telling you right now, you, the leadership in both houses, are bungling everything, sir," Kudlow said. He added, "No one knows what the heck you’re doing, sir. They have no idea."

Kudlow pressed Lankford on specific policy achievements, asking, "What is it that your policy is? Senator Lankford, my friend, what is your policy? Where are the tax cuts? Where are the spending cuts? Where’s the waste, fraud and corruption reduction? Where is all of that? Where is the reconciliation bill? Where’s the straight talk and messaging for the midterm? Where’s the growth messaging? Where’s the ‘We’re gonna make it better for taxpayers and working folks’ messaging? Come on, Senator."

Lankford attempted to counter the criticism by suggesting that conservative media outlets are overly focused on criticizing Republicans while overlooking what he termed "socialists who are running rampant all over the country." However, Kudlow was not swayed by this defense, engaging in a brief exchange where Lankford tried to highlight Republican achievements before Kudlow continued to question the party's communication strategy and policy delivery.
