A former writer for FX Networks has filed a lawsuit against the network, citing numerous workplace safety concerns and allegations of unpaid wages. The suit, lodged by Diara Bradley on September 30 in Santa Monica Superior Court, also claims that FX failed to accommodate her disability requests and provide proper meal breaks.

Bradley, who worked as an associate writer/producer from August 2021 until her termination in June of this year, alleges that the network did not take corrective action after she reported an incident where an "overworked co-worker" brought a knife to the office. According to the lawsuit, Bradley informed FX management of the colleague's actions, but no action was taken.

She also claims that the company did not accommodate her chronic migraines and back pain, the latter of which she attributes to a fall caused by exhaustion at work. Bradley asserts that her firing was a result of her requesting accommodations for a medical condition, her complaints about workplace safety, and alleged wage-and-hour violations.

Bradley's writing credits include social media content for popular FX series such as "The Bear," "Snowfall," "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "American Horror Story." Her previous work also includes contributions to shows like "Sons of Anarchy," "Louie," and "Fargo." She has also worked for Cartoon Network, BET, and CNN.
