A 13-day self-drive holiday, "The North's Classic New Zealand Wine & Food Trail," is priced from $1,995 per person. This package, valid for travel between October 18, 2026, and June 30, 2027, includes 13 days of car hire and a route through Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa, Wellington, and Marlborough, finishing in Auckland. The itinerary includes stays at luxury hotels, wine tastings, and visits to local attractions such as Te Papa museum and Weta Workshop.
For shorter breaks, the "Taste of Wellington with Chocolate Hour & Lord of the Rings Half Day Experience" package starts at $439 per person for a three-night stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Wellington. This deal, available until March 2027, includes daily breakfast and a Lord of the Rings filming locations tour.
Alternatively, the "Capital Culture and Charm at the Museum Apartment Hotel" package offers three-night stays for approximately $85 per person per night based on double occupancy.
