Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, has issued a message to conservatives grappling with recent election setbacks, drawing on her late husband's philosophy of resilience.

"He always said that when things are going well, we need to stay humble. And when things aren’t going the way we want, we need to stay positive, keep our faith, and get back to work," Erika Kirk wrote, sharing her thoughts in the first school year since Charlie Kirk's assassination.

She emphasized that her husband's vision for Turning Point Action was designed to withstand both victories and defeats. "He knew there would be victories and setbacks because he had experienced both and that’s why he built for both," she stated, thanking staff, students, and volunteers for their election cycle efforts.

Kirk noted that exit polls indicated voter concerns centered on the economy, including the cost of gas, groceries, and housing. She observed that while a rising stock market may not resonate with those struggling financially, the core principles of free enterprise and individual liberty remain vital.

"We can disagree with the solutions voters were offered while still recognizing why they were looking elsewhere for answers," she wrote, cautioning against infighting and internal blame within the conservative movement.

Kirk stressed that voters are not bound by labels and are seeking candidates who address their concerns and aspirations. "Americans are not looking for labels and don’t subscribe to unquestioned party loyalty anymore either," she said. "They will support the candidates who can both speak to their concerns and deliver on what THEY need and dream about for their families."

She concluded by stating that Turning Point USA will analyze the results, engage with voters, and dedicate the next two years to demonstrating how conservative policies and free markets can effectively address national challenges. "Our principles haven’t changed and neither has our mission. Onward."
