Eric Roberts has confirmed he did not attend his daughter Emma Roberts' wedding to Cody John in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Saturday.
In a statement to Page Six, the actor said, "I love my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants."
Roberts, 70, was photographed leaving a gym in Los Angeles the day after the ceremony. His daughter, 35, exchanged vows with John, her partner of four years, at his family estate. The ceremony reportedly lasted 45 minutes and took place in 95-degree weather.
Emma Roberts was walked down the aisle by her 5-year-old son, Rhodes, whom she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund. The bride wore a custom Monique Lhuillier dress, while the groom was in a black tuxedo. Guests, including Sarah Paulson and Demi Moore, attended the event. Eric's sister, Julia Roberts, also attended the wedding with her husband, Danny Moder.
