A former Dollar Tree cashier has filed a federal lawsuit against the discount retailer, alleging months of sexual harassment and unwanted touching by her manager. The lawsuit, filed on June 23, claims the manager, Tori Rogers, persistently harassed the employee, Nasushon Taylor, from shortly after she was hired in January 2024.

According to the suit, Rogers would allegedly stand behind Taylor at the cash register and press his pelvis into her backside while entering manager codes. Taylor also claims Rogers touched her chest and repeatedly asked her out on dates, up to five times per week. The suit further alleges that Rogers would visit the store even when not scheduled to work, specifically to harass Taylor.

Taylor reported the alleged behavior to human resources multiple times, but her complaints were not addressed, according to the court filings. The harassment allegedly escalated, with Rogers falsely accusing Taylor of stealing from the register, claims she denies.

Taylor resigned from her position in May 2024. The lawsuit states that Rogers' alleged harassment continued even after her departure, with him showing up at her new job at White Castle and having friends confront her there in an attempt to intimidate her. One woman allegedly spit at Taylor on Rogers' behalf.

Taylor is seeking over $6.5 million in damages from Dollar Tree. Representatives for Dollar Tree and Taylor, as well as Rogers, could not be reached for comment, according to the New York Post.
