Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez have announced their departure from the Bravo reality series "The Valley" after three seasons. The couple shared their decision in a joint Instagram post Tuesday, stating that their "priority is protecting our peace and our family."
"We are incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” Booko and Sanchez wrote in their post. “We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us. Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings."
Fans expressed support for the couple's decision in the comments section of their announcement.
Booko and Sanchez joined "The Valley" cast in its first season in 2024. During the show's initial season, viewers saw the couple navigating the challenges of raising three young children, including newborn twins and a toddler son, Asher. They largely avoided the group's interpersonal conflicts in Season 1, focusing instead on their marriage and family life.
However, the couple became more involved in the show's drama in subsequent seasons. In Season 2, castmate Janet Caperna accused Danny Booko of sexual assault, alleging an incident involving co-stars Jasmine Goode and Michelle Saniei. Sanchez publicly defended her husband throughout this storyline.
Booko addressed the accusations in an April 2025 episode, calling his actions "out of character" and apologizing. He later issued a public apology via Instagram Stories to Sanchez, acknowledging stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep as contributing factors to his behavior but stating they were not excuses.
Season 3 saw Booko and Sanchez parenting four children under the age of four, following the birth of their daughter Adelaide in June 2025. The show continued to explore marital struggles, and at the Season 3 reunion, the couple revealed they were attending marriage counseling. They asserted that their relationship was in a better place, despite facing criticism from castmates regarding Booko's behavior, including an alleged incident at Goode's wedding after-party. The couple maintained that Booko had since gained control over his drinking.
