A father in Bellevue, Washington, was recorded on video confronting a family and verbally abusing them after his son received a Christian pamphlet along with Halloween candy. The incident occurred on Halloween night and was shared online by "The Choe Show."
The video shows the unidentified father outside a residence, expressing outrage that the family had included a Bible tract with the message "Jesus loves you" in their trick-or-treat bag. He accused the family of attempting to convert children.
The pamphlet contained basic Christian tenets, with sections titled "God loves you," "We disobeyed God," "Jesus made a way," and "Jesus is Lord." The father, visibly agitated, gestured with his middle fingers and directed profanity toward the family and religious figures, stating, "Don’t try to convert kids on a f—ing holiday."
He also mocked Christian beliefs, striking a crucifixion pose and saying, "F—ing fictitious God in the sky… Go worship your Christ, he died for your sins." He further commented, "I can’t believe somebody with all this s— could believe in something as stupid as that."
The father’s young child was present in a nearby Tesla during the tirade, at one point moving to the back seat. The father continued his outburst, saying, "There are other religions around here that don’t need to hear about your f—ing fantasy god."
The recording does not provide further context about events preceding or following the confrontation.
