Cher Lloyd marked her 33rd birthday on Tuesday with a solo selfie shared to Instagram, following her recent announcement that she has split from her husband of 13 years, Craig Monk.

The singer posted a picture of herself wearing a white t-shirt and makeup, posing in a car. She held her left hand up to her face, revealing a chunky gold ring where her wedding band once was. A small heart tattoo on her ring finger remained visible, as did a red heart tattoo paired with Craig's name on her left wrist.

Lloyd recently revealed the end of her marriage, which came just three months after the death of her father. She had previously sparked speculation about the marriage's status by posting a photo of her ring-free hand and stating in a comment that her wedding ring had been thrown "in the bin."

A source close to Monk, speaking to the Daily Mail, reportedly urged Lloyd to engage in private conversations with her estranged spouse rather than sharing details about their marital issues publicly, calling her comments "disrespectful" and suggesting she was seeking attention. The source added that Monk is focused on his two daughters.

Lloyd and Monk married in November 2013 and have two daughters: Delilah-Rae, born in May 2018, and Eliza Violet, born in September 2023.

In her birthday post, Lloyd alluded to moving "onto greater things." She also appeared to 'like' several social media posts referencing intuition, crying, and lost love, including one video about crying for hours and another that spoke about gut feelings and intuition. She also shared a video with a voiceover about "old-school love," questioning loyalty and genuine care.
