AFL WAG Casey Battle has shared her grief after losing her unborn child with her husband, Hawthorn star Josh Battle. Battle posted on social media expressing gratitude for the community's support during this difficult time.

"I don't think I will ever be able to put into words how grateful we are for all the love and support we've received over the last few days," Battle wrote, sharing a photo of flowers the couple had received. "Every message, food drop, call, flowers and kind gesture has meant so much to our family. We feel so incredibly loved and supported. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts."

She also mentioned that her two older daughters, Billie and Bobbi, have been a source of strength. The couple had announced the news on Sunday, sharing photos of the pregnancy and a family tribute where they released balloons with messages for the baby. One balloon was marked "Baby Battle" with a heart, and another read "I love you Belle."

"A tiny life, a love that will last forever," Battle wrote in her announcement. "There are some moments that change you forever. A little life that left the biggest imprint on our hearts. Until we meet again, our beautiful baby."
