The North American box office experienced a downturn this weekend, with an estimated $63 million in ticket sales, making it the third-lowest-earning weekend of the year. Halloween festivities are believed to have drawn audiences away from theaters on Saturday.

Leading the weekend's ticket sales were the Elizabeth Holmes documentary “You Can See Everything” and the DC Studios movie “Clayface.”

"You Can See Everything" garnered $10.6 million from 2,655 locations in its third weekend, surpassing other films to hit No. 1 for the first time. Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film has grossed $63.9 million to date against a reported $7 million production budget.

"Clayface," a film about the Batman villain, trailed "You Can See Everything" by a narrow margin, earning $10.4 million. This Warner Bros. release experienced a 57% drop in its second weekend, bringing its domestic earnings to $44.1 million against a reported $44 million budget.

Third place was secured by Laika's animated film “Wildwood,” which added 150 screens in its second weekend, expanding its reach to 3,100 theaters across the U.S. and Canada. The Fathom Entertainment release made an estimated $7.5 million, a 39% decrease from its opening weekend, with a cumulative total of $25.9 million.

The comedic fantasy "Wicker," starring Olivia Colman as a woman who commissions a wicker husband, landed in fourth place with $4.1 million. "Street Fighter," in its third weekend, rounded out the top five with $3.2 million.

In notable expansions, the independent film “The Only Living Pickpocket in New York” added over 1,000 locations in its second weekend, earning $1.9 million and securing a spot in the top 10.

Netflix reported that its World War II film “The Mosquito Bowl” earned $455,000 from 349 locations. "La Bola Negra" made $418,000 from 38 locations in its third weekend, bringing its total to $1.2 million.

Despite the weekend's slump, the domestic box office remains up over 17% from last year, with nearly $8.5 billion earned to date.
