Amanda Bynes, 40, recently purchased a 2026 Range Rover HSE valued at $160,000, trading in her Volkswagen Tiguan as part of the deal, according to an eyewitness.
The former child star was seen at a Los Angeles car dealership where she reportedly exchanged her approximately $45,000 Volkswagen Tiguan for the new luxury vehicle.
Bynes, who has been focusing on her health and sobriety, appeared fit in black trousers and a white T-shirt. Her appearance included bleached blonde hair pulled back, visible black eyebrows, a nose ring, and the fading remnant of a heart tattoo on her cheek.
She arrived at the dealership in her white Volkswagen Tiguan and was later seen driving away in the new black Range Rover.
While Bynes has an estimated net worth of $6 million and typically favors more affordable shopping, this car purchase represents a notable expenditure. At the height of her acting career, she earned between $2 million and $3 million annually.
Bynes stepped away from the entertainment industry over a decade ago to address public mental health and substance abuse issues. Her conservatorship, granted in 2013, was officially terminated in March 2022.
She earned an associate's degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019 and has since been focusing on her well-being, hobbies, and maintaining sobriety. Bynes has been in a relationship with businessman Zachary Khan since September 2025.
