Emily Tanner, girlfriend of two-time U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, has shared details about how their relationship began. In a fan Q&A session on her Instagram account, Tanner stated that she and Clark met online and through mutual friends at the end of January.
"We met end of January and fell pretty fast," Tanner responded to a fan's question about their meeting. "We’re super similar and get along so so well 🥰." She also indicated that she would share the full story at a later time.
Tanner has been a visible presence supporting Clark, notably during his U.S. Open victory last month. When asked about her favorite aspect of supporting Clark on tour, she mentioned the unique experience of getting "sock tan lines" from accompanying him. More seriously, she added, "it’s just the best feeling to be there for him, cheering him on doing what he loves."
