Wyndham Clark, fresh off his victory at the BMW Championship, announced his intention to propose to his girlfriend, Emily Tanner, during the upcoming offseason. The golfer shared his plans with reporters on Tuesday, indicating a significant step in their relationship, which began in late January.

Clark outlined his offseason itinerary, which includes a trip to Cabo, participation in the Presidents Cup, a tournament in Japan, and a trip to South Africa. Amidst these events, he expressed his hope to get engaged. When pressed for clarification on the "hopeful" nature of his engagement plans, Clark responded, "Hopefully she says yes."

This planned proposal comes after only seven months of dating. Clark and Tanner, who first appeared together publicly at The Masters, reportedly met at the end of January and developed feelings for each other quickly. Their relationship has progressed rapidly, with Tanner recently announcing her move to Scottsdale, Arizona, to be with Clark.

Clark has credited Tanner's presence with boosting his confidence on the golf course. This past season has been highly successful for Clark, marked by three PGA Tour victories, including a win at the U.S. Open. The golfer's public declaration of his proposal plans is expected to elicit a response from Tanner, though she is unlikely to be surprised given the rapid development of their relationship.
