The WNBA's biggest stars traded their uniforms for elaborate outfits on Saturday, transforming the orange carpet into a fashion runway ahead of the league's All-Star Game in Chicago.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were among the players who captured attention with their arrivals at the United Center. Clark wore a red collared top and shorts set, complemented by white heels and a white handbag. Reese opted for a light-pink mini dress with a feather-trimmed train and pink platform heels.

Other notable arrivals included four-time MVP A’ja Wilson, who sported a cropped pink jacket with a deconstructed layered skirt, and Aliyah Boston, who showcased an all-black ensemble featuring a crop top, high-waisted leather shorts, and a leather jacket. Gabby Williams arrived in a purple top under a varsity-style jacket, paired with cream satin trousers and dark sunglasses, while Paige Bueckers presented a more casual look in a light blue button-down shirt, an oversized black leather jacket, and wide-leg leather trousers.

The fashion event occurred shortly after USA Today issued a correction regarding Clark's absence from a prior WNBA event. The outlet had initially reported that the Indiana Fever guard missed festivities to get her hair done. The correction clarified that Clark had instead hosted a charity dinner for the Caitlin Clark Foundation. The initial report was based on a social media post from her hairstylist, leading to widespread backlash and a note on X pointing out the error.

This incident followed another controversy involving USA Today and Clark earlier in the week, stemming from an opinion column that drew criticism for its references.
