Tennis legend Venus Williams recently shared a public display of affection with her husband, Andrea Preti, during the England versus Norway World Cup quarterfinal match in Miami. The couple received VIP treatment, including an impromptu on-field photo shoot at Hard Rock Stadium.
Williams, a minority owner of the stadium's NFL tenant, the Miami Dolphins, was accompanied by Preti on the field prior to the match. Instead of being deterred by security, they were met by photographers for a series of pictures. Preti, a 38-year-old model, actor, writer, and director from Copenhagen, was photographed kissing Williams on the cheek. The couple also posed as if kicking a soccer ball for the cameras.
Both Williams and Preti were dressed in Lacoste apparel, a brand with which Williams has partnered since March 2022. Later, the couple was observed in a luxury suite, enjoying white wine. Images of this moment were shared and appreciated by fans on social media platforms.
Preti, who moved to Italy as a teenager to pursue acting, trained at the Susan Batson Academy in New York. His previous work includes writing, directing, and starring in the 2014 independent film "One More Day." He has also appeared in Italian television productions such as the drama "A Professor" and the 2023 reality series "Temptation."
Williams and Preti's appearance came after Williams was slated to play doubles at Wimbledon with her sister, Serena. However, Serena withdrew due to injury, leaving Venus to play mixed doubles with Kevin Krawietz. They were eliminated in the first round of that tournament.
