Underdog is offering new users a promotion that allows them to play $10 and receive $50 in bonus entries on any NHL game scheduled for Tuesday night. The promotion, accessible with promo code FOXNEWS, applies to the full 11-game slate, highlighted by the Edmonton Oilers facing the New Jersey Devils in Newark.
The Oilers-Devils game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Prudential Center. This matchup pits the Oilers' potent offensive duo of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl against the Devils' strong goaltending, spearheaded by a goalie who has started his tenure with a 2-0-0 record, a 1.50 goals-against average, and a .923 save percentage. The Oilers will counter with their own goaltender, who has a 4-1-2 record with two shutouts but a .901 save percentage.
New Jersey is favored at home, partly due to the difference in net performance. The game's total is set at 6.5, with odds favoring the under at -125, suggesting expectations for a close contest, similar to the Devils' 2-1 victory in their last meeting in January.
For those participating in pick'em contests, McDavid's point line is highlighted as a safe way to gain exposure to the Oilers' offense. Additionally, the Devils' goalie's saves line is noted as a worthwhile consideration, especially if the Oilers control possession.
Sports betting odds indicate the Oilers are at +135 on the moneyline, with a puck line of +1.5 (-180). The Devils are -155 on the moneyline, with a puck line of -1.5 (+150). The over/under for total goals is 6.5, with the over at +105 and the under at -125.
Other NHL games scheduled for Tuesday include the Hurricanes visiting Nashville at 8 p.m. ET and Anaheim playing Vancouver at 9 p.m. ET. Earlier in the evening, the Lightning host the Red Wings at 7 p.m. ET, alongside eight other contests.
