England manager Thomas Tuchel voiced his frustration with captain Harry Kane early in the team's World Cup match against Panama at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The incident occurred just three minutes into the final group stage game.

Kane dropped deep into midfield to receive the ball and attempted a pass to Bukayo Saka. The pass was misdirected and went out of play, prompting an animated reaction from Tuchel. The England manager was photographed gesturing emphatically and appearing to shout in Kane's direction.

Tuchel's irritation was visible throughout the first half as England struggled to break down Panama's defensive 5-4-1 formation. Even during the hydration break 23 minutes into the match, he was seen speaking animatedly to players Marcus Rashford and Saka. He later removed his rain jacket and returned to the bench with visible frustration.

By halftime, Tuchel was seen sprinting back to the dressing room, indicating a need to address the team's performance. At that point, England was provisionally in second place in the group, with Croatia leading Ghana.

Assistant coach Anthony Barry commented on the team's intent, stating, "Our guys wanted to start the game fast, we had the intent to start the game fast, and the stadium felt like a home game but it skewed our risk management."
