Trick Williams captured the United States Championship for the second time in his career on Sunday Night's Main Event, defeating Baron Corbin at Atlanta's State Farm Arena. The victory came after a chaotic match where manager Lil Yachty played a significant role.

To earn his title rematch, Williams needed Lil Yachty to withstand five minutes in the ring against Baron Corbin. Yachty managed to hold his own, though he was eventually put through a table after the match concluded. This allowed Williams to get his opportunity for the championship.

The match was a closely contested affair from the outset, with both competitors exchanging blows. Corbin attempted to gain an advantage by using the steel steps and ring post against Williams. During a crucial moment, Corbin grabbed the United States Championship belt, intending to use it. However, Lil Yachty intervened, engaging in a tug-of-war for the belt with Corbin.

Although the referee attended to Yachty, Corbin managed to strike Williams with the belt in an attempt to secure a pinfall, but Williams kicked out. Williams then executed his signature move, the Trick Shot, to defeat Corbin and win the title.

This marks Williams' second reign as United States Champion. He previously held the title after defeating Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 42 earlier in the year, before losing it to Corbin at SummerSlam. The win at Sunday Night's Main Event avenges that loss and reclaims the championship.

With the Money in the Bank event approaching, Williams is expected to face new challengers for his title. Potential contenders mentioned include Carmelo Hayes, Johnny Gargano, and Ricky Saints.
