Trey Wingo is reuniting with former ESPN colleagues Merril Hoge, Damien Woody, and Mark Schlereth for a new NFL-focused program. Titled "The OG Football Show," the series will stream on YouTube, with the quartet bringing together the old "NFL Live" cast.

Wingo will host the show, with Hoge, Woody, and Schlereth providing analysis. The program is scheduled to debut on September 7 and will run through Super Bowl 2027, taking breaks during the NFL offseason. The show will recap the four most significant NFL games from each Sunday slate.

Wingo had previously hinted at the reunion on social media, responding to a fan's question about "putting the band back together" with a "stay tuned" message.

The announcement of the new show comes weeks after a public exchange between Wingo and Emmanuel Acho regarding the success of "NFL Live." Acho had stated that Ryan Clark was the sole reason for the show's popularity, comments made after ESPN laid off Clark. Wingo responded on social media, sharing a graphic that indicated the show's ratings had peaked over a decade prior.

Wingo was a prominent figure at ESPN for many years before his departure in 2020. He has remained an influential voice in sports media since leaving the network.
