The 2026 PGA Tour season concludes this weekend with the Tour Championship, the final event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The tournament begins Thursday, August 27, at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring the top 30 players from the regular season standings.

While the $100 million FedEx Cup prize was awarded last weekend, the winner of the Tour Championship will be crowned the 2026 FedEx Cup champion. All 30 participants start the tournament at even par, creating an equal opportunity for each player to claim the season's title. Scottie Scheffler, who held a significant lead in the FedEx Cup standings, is considered a favorite to win at East Lake.

How to Watch

The Tour Championship will be broadcast on ESPN, Golf Channel, and CBS from August 27-30. For viewers without cable, DIRECTV offers a five-day free trial, which can be used to stream the tournament. The Choice plan, with over 125 channels including ESPN, Golf Channel, and CBS, is recommended. Alternatively, DIRECTV's MySports Genre Pack provides similar channel access at a lower monthly cost after the trial period.

Both DIRECTV plans include access to the ESPN app, offering additional coverage through PGA Tour Live on ESPN+. This streaming option provides early morning livestreams before the main broadcast begins each day.
