NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero is expected to be among those laid off by ESPN, according to multiple reports. Pelissero, known for breaking news on X and co-hosting "The Insiders" with Ian Rapoport, was believed to be staying with ESPN after the company's purchase of NFL Network.

ESPN has spent the past six months evaluating its talent roster. While Pelissero is reportedly being let go, his "The Insiders" co-host Mike Garafolo has been retained by ESPN and received a contract extension.

Other notable departures are expected to include NFL Network analyst Charles Davis, injury expert Stephania Bell, and longtime "SportsCenter" anchor David Lloyd. ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro has reportedly communicated the reasons for these workforce reductions to employees. Disney, ESPN's parent company, is also anticipated to conduct its own round of layoffs.

Pelissero's situation follows other high-profile departures. On Monday, analyst Ryan Clark was informed of his layoff, reportedly during a live television appearance. Longtime baseball voice Karl Ravech, who has been with ESPN for 33 years, is also expected to be let go.
