Actor Timothée Chalamet was seen in conversation with soccer icon David Beckham and his son Romeo at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday. The two met during the World Cup semifinal match between France and Spain.

Chalamet, 30, attended the game to support France, his father Marc's birth country. He was seen wearing a France tracksuit top during the match. France faced the reigning European champions, Spain, for a spot in the upcoming World Cup final.

During the second half of the game, Fox Sports cameras captured Chalamet and Beckham, 51, engaged in discussion in the stands. Romeo Beckham, 23, was also present.

France, considered favorites to win the tournament, were eliminated after a 2-0 defeat to Spain. Mikel Oyarzabal scored from a penalty in the 22nd minute, and Pedro Porro added a second goal 13 minutes into the second half.

But Les Bleus were sent packing from the tournament after suffering a surprise 2-0 defeat

Chalamet had previously attended Spain's quarterfinal victory over Belgium in Los Angeles the previous week with his father. Earlier in the summer, Chalamet was a regular at New York Knicks games, where his team secured an NBA championship.

Beckham has been a notable attendee at several World Cup matches throughout the tournament. He also hosted the England team at his Inter Miami training facility prior to their quarterfinal match.
