Sunderland have made a loan offer for Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish as the transfer window approaches its close. The 30-year-old has recently been reintegrated into City's first-team squad, appearing as a substitute in their initial two matches of the season.

Manchester City is considering various options for Grealish, including a permanent sale or another loan spell. The club has not ruled out the possibility of him staying, though this could involve limited playing time. Sunderland's offer reportedly includes covering a portion of the player's salary.

Everton, where Grealish spent last season on loan, has also remained in contact, according to club chief executive Angus Kinnear. City manager Enzo Maresca acknowledged Grealish's presence and the team's focus on coaching him to perform at his best. "He is here and it is my duty to coach Jack and to try to get the best," Maresca stated. "Then it is one more week to go and we will see what happens. Not only with Jack but also other players."

Meanwhile, Manchester City is active in the transfer market. Omar Marmoush is undergoing a medical at Tottenham, and Nico Gonzalez is finalizing his move to Newcastle. The club is also in the process of signing Palmeiras winger Allan Elias and is expected to make a bid for Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez.

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has identified the winger position as a priority. The club has been in discussions with Marseille regarding Brazilian winger Igor Paixao and has reportedly made an offer for him earlier this week, with talks ongoing. Sunderland has also held talks with Sporting Lisbon over Mozambique winger Geny Catamo.
