St. John's has landed five-star recruit Malachi Jordan, a top-25 wing from Prolific Prep, the program announced Tuesday. This commitment is the first five-star recruit for St. John's in 13 years and comes shortly after head coach Rick Pitino indicated a strategic shift to target more high school players.
Jordan, who stands at 6-foot-7, chose St. John's over offers from Kansas and Vanderbilt. He recently completed an official visit to the Queens campus.
