Spain's Marc Cucurella has made good on his promise to get a tattoo of his manager's face after the national team secured the 2026 FIFA World Cup title. The ink commemorates the team's victory over Argentina in the final held at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19.

Cucurella had pledged before the tournament that he would get a tattoo of manager Luis de la Fuente holding the World Cup trophy if the team achieved victory. Despite an opening draw against Cape Verde, Spain went on to win the tournament, with Ferran Torres scoring the decisive goal in extra time against the reigning champions.

The decision to get the tattoo serves as a permanent memento of Spain's World Cup campaign. Cucurella was seen celebrating the team's win at a parade in Madrid.
