San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed a lack of interest when asked about wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk's anticipated meeting with the team. Aiyuk is expected to arrive at the 49ers’ practice facility Friday to discuss his future with the franchise.

When questioned about what he expected to happen during the meeting, Shanahan responded, "No clue. Your guess is as good as mine." Further pressed on what he would like to see transpire, Shanahan stated, "I could care less."

The coach's comments suggest a potential disconnect regarding Aiyuk's future with the team. The wide receiver had previously drawn attention for his social media activity over the summer, including a post that appeared to mock Shanahan after the coach was involved in a car accident.

Aiyuk is currently on San Francisco's Reserve/Left Squad list and is eligible to be reinstated by the NFL. Some teammates, like tight end George Kittle, have publicly acknowledged the situation, with Kittle questioning whether Aiyuk would actually enter the facility.
