Scottie Scheffler returned to the winner's circle at the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday, a dominant eight-shot victory at TPC Southwind in Memphis that marked a significant family moment. For the first time, his four-month-old son, Remy, was present for one of Scheffler's PGA Tour wins.

Following his performance, Scheffler was joined on the 18th green by his wife, Meredith, and their two sons, Bennett and Remy. Meredith carried Remy, who sported an oversized cap on the warm afternoon, while Scheffler held Bennett as the family celebrated the win together. A broadcast caption fittingly labeled the occasion "The first win for baby Remy Scheffler."

This victory marked Scheffler's 21st on the PGA Tour and his first since winning The American Express in January, prior to Remy's birth in March. The win also concluded a streak of over 200 days without a victory for Scheffler, who had accumulated five runner-up finishes during that period.

"I felt like I had some close calls this year, so it was nice to finish the tournament off," Scheffler said after the event. "I felt like a week like this was coming."

Scheffler has often spoken about his priorities extending beyond golf, having previously stated that he would "much rather be a great father" than a great golfer. He has also credited Meredith and their growing family for helping him maintain perspective on his career.

"It takes a lot of work for me to be able to do this for a living, and it’s a lot of sacrifice for her," Scheffler said earlier in the year. "To be able to celebrate those moments for both of us is really cool."

The FedEx St. Jude Championship victory provided another such moment, with Remy now able to be part of the official celebration photos.
