Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh stated he holds "no ill will" toward the New York Jets, the team that fired him, as he prepares to face them in the upcoming season opener on Sept. 13. Saleh, who was dismissed by the Jets five games into his fourth season in 2024, reflected on his time with the organization while speaking to The Post.
"I don’t hold grudges," Saleh told The Post. "I’m really grateful for the opportunity I had. I have no ill will toward the Jets."
While acknowledging the narrative surrounding his return to face his former team, Saleh emphasized that the majority of personnel on the football side of the Jets have changed since his departure in October 2024. However, he noted that owner Woody Johnson, who made the decision to fire him, remains with the team.
