Ring of Honor (ROH) is set to present its annual Death Before Dishonor event on August 21, 2026, emanating from the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The show, a staple on the ROH calendar, will feature a robust match card with several championships on the line, as well as talent that also appears on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) programming, due to AEW CEO Tony Khan's ownership of ROH.
The main card will be available to watch on ROH TV beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Undercard and Women's Television Championship
The Zero Hour pre-show will kick off with a tag team match as Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata face Vita Van and VertVixen. Shirakawa and Aminata have been successful as a team, but Van and VertVixen aim to break their winning streak.
The ROH Women’s Television Championship will be contested in a fatal four-way match. The champion, Red Velvet, will defend her title against Skye Blue, Marina Shafir, and Zayda Steel. Velvet has held the title for approximately 259 days in her second reign, making her the only wrestler to hold the championship twice. All three challengers are vying for the gold.
Tag Team and Six-Man Tag Team Championships
High-flying action will be on display as the ROH Tag Team Champions Místico and Máscara Dorada, collectively known as El Sky Team, defend their titles against three other teams: The Kingdom (Matthew Taven and Michael Bennett), La Facción Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos), and Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin).
The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship will see The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) and Dalton Castle defend their titles against Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson. This trio won the belts in May and have been successful since their formation.
Television and Pure Rules Matches
A ROH Television Championship match pits champion Lio Rush against Action Andretti in a Fight Without Honor bout. Rush, who has undergone a character change, will defend his title against a former associate.
The ROH Pure Women’s Championship will be defended by Deonna Purrazzo against Steph De Lander. Purrazzo, the inaugural and sole holder of the Pure Women’s Championship since its inception in 2025, was previously injured by De Lander in an ROH TV taping. The match will adhere to Pure Rules, including limited rope breaks and no closed fists.
Pure Championship and Women's World Championship
Lee Moriarty is set to defend the ROH Pure Championship against Katsuyori Shibata. Originally slated to face Nigel McGuinness, Moriarty's challenger changed when Shibata defeated Wheeler Yuta. Moriarty has held the Pure Championship for over 755 days, but faces a formidable opponent in Shibata.
Athena, the ROH Women’s World Champion, will defend her title against Hazuki, the Spark Joshi world champion from Stardom. Athena’s reign has been described as dominant, having successfully defended the championship across various match types and promotions.
ROH World Championship Main Event
The main event will feature Bandido defending the ROH World Championship against Nick Wayne. Bandido has been credited with elevating the championship's prestige through his defenses across multiple promotions. Wayne, a rising talent, is expected to challenge for the title in what could be a significant night for him and his family.
