The New York Rangers have traded veteran center Vincent Trocheck to the Utah Mammoth, marking a significant shakeup for the team. The deal sent Trocheck to the Mammoth in exchange for defenseman Sean Durzi, forward prospect Cole Beaudoin, and a 2027 third-round pick. The trade was reported by The Post’s Mollie Walker.
Trocheck, 32, had been a fixture for the Rangers for the past four seasons, recording 89 goals and 164 assists in 313 regular-season games during his tenure. His departure comes after he recently hired CAA’s Pat Brisson as his agent, and he had been the subject of trade speculation since the deadline.
Durzi, 27, joins the Rangers after playing 60 games for the Mammoth last season, during which he scored five goals and registered 22 assists. The addition of Beaudoin provides the Rangers with a forward prospect as they continue to shape their roster.
